It is increasingly common, that people want to have their own painting made. How does that work?
There are many, very diverse paintings on display in my studio. Based on that, together we will make a selection of format, coloring, style, theme, texture. That will be the starting point of the painting to be made. It is nice if I can form an image of the place where the painting will hang. The style, the interior, the other art on the wall etc. This can be based on photos or I can come and visit. The latter I do formally have the assignment to make a painting.
Then, based on that information, I get to work. If requested, I will send images in the meantime to check whether what I make meets expectations. The client is of course more than welcome to visit me during the process.
When the painting is finished I will come and bring it.
The price depends on the format. I will make an appropriate quote for that in advance.
